September Goals

September has finally started! Most people aren't very happy about it, I guess because summer's over and the holidays have gone by super fast. I'm quite happy with September beginning as it's my birthday month and I love the weather and the fresh start to a new academic year.
My August has been truly amazing. I'm happy of how I spent my time on the beach and blogging when at home. Now I'm thinking that it would be cool to set some goals for September to be as great.

1 Move to a New Country
This has been on my dream bucket list in my teen years and now I'm so glad I can achieve it. On 6 September I'm moving to Spain for a year, and I'll be studying first then working. I'm really excited and can't wait to see what it's like. My goal is to settle in feeling a part of the community both at university and in the city besides technically moving my stuff there haha.

2 Make some Friends I hope to be able to meet some other Erasmus students where I am and make friends with them. I don't know what the future holds but I'm thrilled at the perspective!

3 Use and Improve my Spanish as much as I Can!
This is a goal for the whole year to be honest. I want to get my Spanish to the level I have in English, although I don't know if that'll be possible. I want to read books in Spanish and study literature and history so I don't just learn conversational Spanish.

4 Keep Blogging
I'll probably be super busy in my first weeks in Spain considering administration and other boring stuff I'll have to organise, so I hope to find the time to write on my blog as much as I did this summer. I'll probably do more lifestyle posts than book reviews.

5 Switching Back to my Heathy Lifestyle
This summer I've followed my healthy routine for a while, but in mid-August I completely neglected it. This month I really want to start exercising again, cooking healthy meals for myself and do meditation more often.

What are your September goals this year?

  1. Great list! I hope one day you can move to another country (I'm sure you will!)

I work in schools so I'm looking forward to just getting back into that routine and taking as many hours as I can. My goal is to eventually get a long term position or something more permanent.

I also intent to enjoy Fall as much as I can :) - Pumpkin Spiced Lattes, decorating my room a bit, and taking crisp evening walks and enjoying the scenery of leaves changing colours.

Hope you have a lovely September! :)

    1. I can't wait to read your posts on your fall weekends.
I've never tasted pumpkin spiced lattes! Latte means milk in Italian, is that what it is?
I didn't know you worked in schools! Are you a teacher?I hope you manage to get a steadier position soon :)
